ὣς εἰπὼν ἐς δίφρον ἑλὼν ἔναρα βροτόεντα

θῆκ' ἀν δ' αὐτὸς ἔβαινε πόδας καὶ χεῖρας ὕπερθεν

αἱματόεις: ὥς τίς τε λέων κατὰ ταῦρον ἐδηδώς:

So saying, he took up the bloody spoils, and set them in the car, and himself mounted thereon, his feet and his hands above all bloody, even as a lion that hath devoured a bull.
