παύε'. ἔα δὲ χόλον θυμαλγέα: σοὶ δ' Ἀγαμέμνων
ἄξια δῶρα δίδωσι μεταλλήξαντι χόλοιο:
εἰ δὲ σὺ μέν μευ ἄκουσον ἐγὼ δέ κε τοι καταλέξω
ὅσσα τοι ἐν κλισίῃσιν ὑπέσχετο δῶρ' Ἀγαμέμνων:
ἑπτ`' ἀπύρους τρίποδας. δέκα δὲ χρυσοῖο τάλαντα:
αἴθωνας δὲ λέβητας ἐείκοσι: δώδεκα δ' ἵ̈ππους.
πηγοὺς, ἀθλοφόρους. οἳ ἀέθλια ποσσὶν ἄροντο:
οὔ κεν ἀλήϊος εἴη ἀνὴρ. ᾧ τόσσα γένοιτο.
οὐδέ κεν ἀκτήμων ἐριτίμοιο χρυσοῖο.
ὅσσ' Ἀγαμέμνονος ἵ̈πποι ἀέθλια ποσσὶν ἄροντο:
δώσει δ' ἑπτὰ γυναῖκας ἀμύμονασ ἔργ' εἰδυίας
Λεσβίδας, ἃς, ὅτε Λέσβον ἐϋκτιμένην ἕλες αὐτὸς,
ἐξἕλεθ'. αἳ τότε κάλλει ἐνίκων φῦλα γυναικῶν:
τὰς μέν τοι δώσει: μετα δ`' ἔσσεται ἣν τότ' ἀπηύρᾱ
κούρην Βρισῆος. καὶ ἐπὶ μέγαν ὅρκον ὀμεῖται.

Τρωϊάδας δὲ γυναῖκας ἐείκοσιν, αὐτὸς ἑλέσθαι:
αἵ κε, μετ' Ἀργείην Ἑλένην κάλλισται ἔωσιν:
