ὡς φάτο. Μηριόνης δὲ θοῶ ἀτάλαντος Ἄρηϊ

ἦρχ' ΐμεν. ὄφρ' ἀφίκοντο κατα στρατὸν. ᾗ μιν ἀνώγει:

So spake he, and Meriones, the peer of swift Ares, led the way until they came to the host, at the point whither Idomeneus bade him go.
