ὣς εἰπὼν. τὰ μὲν έντε' ἀπο χροὸς αἱματόεντα

συλήσᾱς. ἑτάροισι δίδου Μενέλαος ἀμύμων.

αὐτὸς δ' αὖτ' ἐξ αῦτις ἰ̈ὼν προμάχοισιν ἐμίχθη:

With this peerless Menelaus stripped from the body the bloody armour and gave it to his comrades, and himself went back again, and mingled with the foremost fighters.
